Angela Scott

Angie Scott has directed plays in New York, Los Angeles and Ireland. Her Los Angeles credits include Desert Rats (Ovation Award Nomination, Best New Play); the world premieres of Temples and Bright Light City; The Psychic Life of Savages; The Tinker’s Wedding; The Bear; The Proposal; The Life of Christ (Without Christ); Ginger Man; Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me; Wife Away; Fuddy Meers; A Happy New Year; Blind Struck Ugly Luck; Bittersweet Salvation; Buried at Sea and The Burning Season. She most recently directed The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at UCLA TFT.
Scott served as literary manager at New York City’s Cherry Lane Theatre. While there, she helped shepherd their Obie Award-winning series Mentor Project. In 2015, she launched Latino Theater Company’s education programs Summer Youth Conservatory, Play at Work, and student matinees.
Scott received her master of fine arts degree in directing from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
